SEAGULL WALNUT MINI JUMBO SG WITH SOLID SPRUCE TOP

This acoustic guitar has been expertly crafted in La Patrie, Canada. The Seagull Walnut Mini Jumbo has a Select Pressure Tested Solid Spruce top. The top is the part of the instrument that is most influential on the sound. It is therefore important that the best quality of solid wood is used. Seagull Guitars test each top for stiffness and harmonic vibration. This ensures maximum tone and projection from the instrument. This will also make sure your acoustic guitar last longer as well. Another feature of the Seagull Walnut Mini Jumbo is that is has a compound curve on the top. The top is arched just above the soundhole which adds integrity to the structure. By doing this you can use a slightly thinner top and lighter bracing. Increased power and projection are achieved by leaving the top flatter below the soundhole. Particularly around the bridge area. This bracing on this acoustic guitar has been created from Adirondack Spruce. This is light and strong. It has also been scalloped and and carved to match the top of the Seagull Walnut Mini Jumbo.

WARM ACOUSTIC GUITAR SOUNDS WITH GREAT MID-RANGE RESPONSE

A durable and great looking finish has been applied to the Seagull Walnut Mini Jumbo. A technique called Custom Polished Finish is applied to the instrument. When too much polyester finish is applied to the acoustic guitar it can smother the tone. The Custom Polished finish lets the wood breathe better, resulting in better tone. The Silver Leaf Maple neck has been given a reverse headstock construction for strength and increased stability. This is achieved by cutting the wood at a forty five degree angle. It is then re-attached with the grain reversed. Another thing you might have noticed on the Seagull Walnut Mini Jumbo is the tapered headstock. Although it looks cool it actually serves a more important purpose. It allows the acoustic guitar strings to be pulled through the centre which helps against warping. It also makes tuning far more stable. An Integrated Set Neck is fitted into this instrument. This ensures greater strength, stability and sound. Inside the neck is a double function truss rod. It adjust both directions to let you get he perfect neck bow. Care has also been taken when attaching the neck to the body. Seagull use a specific neck attachment system to make sure the neck is fixed properly to the body at the correct angle. The Seagull Walnut Mini Jumbo has a pretty curvy body. This delivers warmth with a great mid-range response. Perfect for cutting through.
